Darth Vader and Storm Troopers tour underground
Surely there can’t be yet another Star Wars brand tie-in in the offiing, can there?
We most recently seen Yoda in those Vodafone ads and Vader in the Dixons’ and Volkswagen ads.
Anyone have any idea what these are for?
All has been revealed. The Star Wars characters are no infact back on a non-related promotional treadmill, but on offical business so to speak as part of the midnight launch happening tonight in Clapham for the new Kinect Star Wars. Full details below:
KINECT STAR WARS MIDNIGHT EVENT AT BLOCKBUSTER – WITH ‘GALACTIC’ OFFERS
London, April, 2012:
To celebrate the launch of Kinect Star Wars and the limited edition Star Wars Xbox 360, Blockbuster is holding a special midnight event at its Clapham store.
On Monday night, the store at 24-28 Clapham High Street, London will be selling the much-anticipated console and title from midnight. The first five people in the queue will receive the Star Wars Xbox for free and the next 45 people who buy Kinect Star Wars will receive the complete Star Wars Bluray box-set for free as well.
For those who can’t get there on the night, Blockbuster is currently offering a special pre-order price for both the game and the console: Kinect Star Wars for £29.99 and the console for £339.99, which can either be pre-ordered in-store or at www.blockbuster.co.uk.
In addition, customers can test their Jedi Powers against the Dark Side by picking up Kinect Star Wars for just 99 pence when they trade-in any of the following games at their local store and take advantage of the galactic offer:
