Sir Martin Sorrell, the WPP Group chief executive, has been interviewed by a lot of people, but this is perhaps one of the funniest he has ever done as he is sits on a pink and leopard skin chair and talks to a giggly girl in pink dress (“I’m like the Valley girl”) on ‘The Valley Girl’ show.
He gives the low down on the male menopause and being knighted by the Queen as well as talking about WPP and how his family came to the UK from Kiev.
You wonder how this is going to go and why they put him up for this particularly as he starts out by saying: “It’s a bit Barbie-ish”, but he shows he has a sense of humour and gets right into it as host Jesse Draper gets him talking.
If you’re wondering “The Valley Girl Show,” it describes itself as “Ellen” but with guests you’d probably see on news shows. Sorrell follows in the footsteps of Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley, Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg and Paypal founder Elon Musk.
