The recent showdown between Argentina and the UK over WPP’s Olympic ad that saw Fernando Zylberberg, a member of the Argentine Olympic hockey team , training in the Falklands Islands, has received a spoof response.
The spoof suggests the debt ridden South American country mind its own business and payback some of the billions it owes the world economy.
The spat led to an ’embarrassed’ WPP to pledge to support UK war veterans after creating the ad.
The spoof has been created by The Commentator which says Argentina’s recent sabre-rattling over the Falklands is “nothing more than a distraction from the real issue regarding the country’s debts”.
“This spoof of the Argentine propaganda video illustrates how the Argentinians are running away from their creditors, while making specious claims over British sovereign territory.”
